Linda Ilves is a composer, musician and dancer based in Helsinki, Finland. Her cross-genre music and artistry has been performed and portrayed on various stages in numerous projects both around Finland and abroad.​ As a singer Linda is very versatile and has performed as a singer in the National Theatre’s big stage, touring around Europe with a vocal Folk Hop band and worked as a backing vocalist on Globen’s stage in Stockholm for the Eurovision Song Contest. Her stylistic range reaches all from big band jazz and modern r n’ b to indie rock and folk music, always curious to explore different ways to express herself through voice.​Linda is also known for being a unique composer. Whether making and producing music for a dance piece for a festival in Tanzania, composing the original score for a movie premiere at the Venice film festival or performing her music on a live-stream for national television she always finds a way to include her voice as a part of the whole. It gives the performance an identity of it’s own, a personal touch.​Ilves has a background in the street dances styles House and Hip hop. She has travelled the world learning about hip hop dance and culture, performed on stages in Finland and abroad with her group Cleva and taught House and Hip hop for 15 years.​
