During the summer of 2024 Linda worked as a backing vocalist and performer for renowned Finnish pop & rock star Maija Vilkkumaa. The band "Maija Vilkkumaa & Ystävät" toured all over Finland, performing 20 concerts all together and Maija mesmerizing the crowd with her talent and charisma! The show is colorful and energetic with all musicians gicing their all to the music. The next performance will be in December 2024, when Maija hits the Nokia Areena stage in Tampere!

The Artist
Linda has also been working and performing as a solo artist for some years and is currently working on new material, which is set to be released in 2025.
In her solo project she will be writing, composing, producing and performing her own music.

why so shy
The Singer-songwriter
Why so shy is a band formed by singer -songwriter/composer Linda Ilves and music producers/ musicians Ville Aalto and Samuli Kivelä in year 2020.
The music has hints of indie rock, electronic and pop music, drawing inspiration from artists and bands such as Radiohead, Sampha and Olafur Arnalds.
Their first EP was released in the fall of 2022 and the second EP will come during spring 2025.

Pintaremontti
The Actress/Musician
In early 2021 Linda was asked to be a part of the play Pintaremontti (based on the book “Pintaremontti” by Miika Nousiainen, directed by Irene Aho and music composed by Timo Hietala) in the National Theatre as a musician and a dancer/actress.
The play was initially supposed run until spring 2022 but due popular demand it was continued until end of 2022.
It was a remarkable experience working with such a warm, inviting and professional team.

Tuuletar
The Vocalist
Tuuletar (Piia Säilynoja, Sini Koskelainen, Johanna Kyykoski and Venla Blom) is a vocal Folk Hop -band touring the world with their unique sound performing their own compositions using their voices, creating beautiful harmonies and melodies - even beatboxing!
In 2019 Linda was asked to substitute one of the singers for the whole year, performing on stages all over Europe. Every show was different, where Linda would sing, dance and even rap excerpts from the book of Kalevala.
Sandhja
The Backingvocalist
In 2016 the artist known as Sandhja won the UMK singing contest in Finland and got to participate in the Eurovision song contest in Stockholm, Sweden.
Linda was a part of her backing vocals group called Akkabellas along side amazing singers such as Jepa Lambert, Heini Ikonen, Reetta Korhonen and Tuuli Ikonen.
The final performance was on the Globen stage in Stockholm, Sweden.
